Welauneqi's Fist, (Delang: Δероьа ҩнѠелҩнеьі (Dexoqa aunWelauneqi), IPA: /dexuqa ɔnwelɔ:neqi/), was a stone shaped as a small fist, that was originally found by a party of 11 children in 968 a.Q, on an outing on a skerry not too far east of Wentegeru. The fist was, eventually, in 1043 a.Q, dumped in the volcano near Wentegeru. By that time the stone had cost the life of more than 100 persons, including the original finders.

The party of kids, (Delang: ѕвҩга (svauga), IPA: /svɔga/), led by the twins Cagey Faon, (Delang: Ьагі Fаѡн (Qagi Fawn), IPA: /qagi fawn/), and Alivia Karin, (Delang: Аљівја Каłін (Allivja Karin), IPA: /aɭivja kaɹin/), both scheduled to take their final exam a week later, went sailing and camping at the skerries near the eastern end of The Equatorial Barrier Reef, (Delang: Месеьєј (Mezeqeuj), IPA: /me:zeqøj/), known as The Sickness Reef, (Delang: Малеьєј (Maleqeuj), IPA: /ma:leqøj/). According to records found on the twins' Computer Pads, (Delang: Сірон (Zixon), IPA: /zixu:n/), a few of the younger kids sailed into The Sickness Reef where they located the fist-shaped rock later named Welauneqi's Fist. Within hours of collecting the rock, the kids got so horrible sick that Alivia Karin injected each of them with a lethal dose of Carnackfish antivenom. Unfortunately, the sickness spread rapidly to the rest of the party during the night. By morning the supply of antivenom had run out and the twins were left to die a horribly death in excruciating pain.

The rescue party that was sent out to search for the kids, later told that while most of them died peacefully, the faces of the twins showed clearly what a evil way death by the sickness of The Sickness Reef truly was. Even death by Carnackfish venom would've been better. However, for, at the time, unknown reasons, even the rescue party quickly became sick and died, as did anyone else who handled the stone. Within days it was assumed that the stone carried the disease. For that reason, the stone was named Welauneqi's Fist.

The disease was found to be resistant to heat after a quick sterilization of the stone didn't stop the disease for affecting the scientists that were now studying it. Even cooking the stone for days in a specially designed pressure cooker, (Delang: мемопта (memopta), IPA: /me:mupta/), didn't stop the sickness. In 979 a.Q. the stone was buried deep underground in a thick concrete casket, and the sickness was halted.

More than 60 years later, in 1042 a.Q. the casket was again dug up, and reexamined by scientists. At that time it was found that the casket leaked 'death rays', (Delang: неьіłај (neqiraj), IPA: /neqiɹaj/), a kind of rays recently discovered. Further examination of the casket found that it also spat out 'spit particles', (Delang: іссітҩ (izzitau), IPA: /izzitɔ/), which together with the expulsion of 'star gas' particles, (Delang: аѕтепаłтҩ (astepartau), IPA: /astepaɹtɔ/), indicates that the stone is made up of a 'spitting element', (Delang: іссіпłеѡтҩ (izziprewtau), IPA: /izzipɹewtɔ/).

As the concrete casket was opened, all three types of rays emanated from the stone. It clearly consisted of 'spitting elements'. Being deemed too dangerous for further investigation, a vessel of 'shape metal', (Delang: ƒҩмьłоҫ (faumqrozj), IPA: /fɔmqɹuʃ/), was designed to contain the Fist. Then it was brought to the volcano near Wentegeru, and tossed into the lava lake, finally ending the sickness.
