Word fusion rules are rules used when creating new words from existing words in the dictionary. Basically new words can be created from existing word by simply fusing two words together in order (лањінліберін (langinlibexin) /laŋinli:bexin/ from лањін (langin), word, and ліберін (libexin), book, forming word book, or dictionary). However some words doesn't do this simple fusion well (Іљомі (Illomi) /iɭu:mi/ from іљ (ill), island, and ƕомі (homi), human/people, forming island people, Illomi). Two methods are used to solve these troublesome fusions: letter drops and sound changes. Sometimes a combination may also be needed.

Letter drops is the easiest way to solve troublesome fusions. To make the new word more palatable, you simply drops the offending letter.

Sound changes are more complicated and can be somewhat unpredictable. Most sound changes are based on the soft versus hard consonant system in Delang, but the change may go either way depending on what sounds are fused together. Additionally, either or both words to be fused together may have a sound change. Sound changes may also be provoked by letter drops.
